I really hope to see you at Cowboys on the 30th dixiana!! We are going to have a BLAST! We plan to go early and get right up front and center. So, if you see us, come say hi to us! We will be noticeable I'm sure... And if James asks for any women to go up on stage and dance this time, We are all three going to go up there for sure! You should join us. We've all three been to shows where he did that, but we were too embarrassed to go up there... but we think that if we are all together, we will have the nerve to do it! I hope you join us!
We have a designated driver, so we plan to have a great time! LOL

Beach Wagon
I saw James at the Beach Wagon in Myrtle Beach and had a blast. I don't go to clubs that much. But it brought back lots of memories of when I did go a lot. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience but I thought that James and the band was awsome. It was great meeting James and having my picture taken with him. I have pictures of him hanging at my desk at work. I am hoping to go to the show on the 30th in NC but I'm still not sure. But if I do I hope to see some of you there.

Clubs vs. Venues
I remember when I first starting following Toby Keith, I first saw him in smaller venues. It was wonderful seeing him up and close, one that I'd love to have now. I'm sure that it's going to be the same with James real soon!
Hope that you have a great time at whichever show you go to! That's the most important thing!

Sorry to hear that...
It's too bad you had a bad experience at a club. Jennifer & I have both seen James at a club before and have both had AWESOME experiences. We think it's just so much more personal and close-up because he's right in front of you. I can understand what you're saying though and I'm sure that we could end up having a bad experience also, but I don't think that will keep me from going back to a club. As James starts getting bigger, he club shows are probably going to slowly dwindle away, so we're taking in as many as we can now! :) I hope someday you feel like seeing him in one again, but I can appreciate if you don't want to.

Tarboro NC
James is also going to be in Tarboro NC on August 29th I am going to be there. I had a very bad expirence at the Beach Wagon in MB at the James Otto Show July 5th (Nothing with him or the band or anything like that) I wont be doing the Otto Show in a Club AGAIN! So I will take Venues over clubs any Day!

The safety green is the brightest, so if you want to stand out like Michelle, you should order one!
I am all about black, so my Ottomaniac t-shirt is black, but the Neon Pink lettering makes me noticeable, but then again, I am pretty easy to spot without the Safety Green or Pretty in Pink on! LOL
Without a doubt, anyone who gets those colors WILL stand out in the crowd as I reiterate, I spotted Michelle and Tina a few blocks away at the show when I was walking up to the stage! ROFLMAO!!!

I was wondering what shirt this is that you gals are talking about...I have a silver/grey Otto shirt, but I dont see any "safety green" ones anywhere...Since I am definately an Ottomaniac, I may have to get me one of those shirts!

You did try to tell me about the green shirts and I should have listened. I bet they never see me in a crowd with a red shirt on. But I'm still looking so forward to wearing my new Ottomaniac shirt. They are just so awesome! I'll help promote you here. Ya'll listen to her now. These are some great shirts and worth you buying one to show off your true Support for The Biggest voice in country music. I guess I'll be ordering a new safety green one too now. LOL

Where?
Where can I get one of those SAFETY GREEN SHIRTS. I ordered one from the shop here and the dang thing is so tight I can hardly breath in it. Also bought one at the Evansville show...love it but it's black and I want to stand out in the crowd. LOL
I need one of those!
I guess I'm gonna need to get me one of those "safety" green shirts now that I can't wear my bright pink one anymore since it's OTTOgraphed! :)

Here I Come....
James told me last week that he didn't know that I was at the show....well, with my "safety" green Ottomaniac shirt on, he'll never be able to say that again!
That's the key Ottomaniacs, if you want to let James that you're in the crowd, order one of our "safety" green shirts and he'll spot you right away. The guys in the band said that they saw us as soon as we started walking toward the stage area! It's nice to be loved!

The show was great and the fans were lined up it seems for miles! Although Michelle and Tina were the brightest Ottomaniac's in the crowd!! Almost burned my eyes out, but I spotted them a few blocks away! LOL

Otto-Some Show in Indy!
WE just got back from the Indiana State Fair and James and the Smokin'Aces were on fire!! It was great seeing James be the headliner and play for an hour!! He got the crowd up on their feet! It was great seeing old friends and meeting new. James and the band left the stage only to come back and do an encore and at the end he jumped down into the crowd and shook hands with everyone. He also had a meet and greet - the line was out the door!! My daughter took some awesome pictures we will try to post - if not on this site then on the freak parade - Great job !! Can't wait for the next Otto experience.

Otto Show
I saw him at the Beach Wagon in Myrtle Beach July 5th. I agree the night club concerts are much better. You can get so much closer to the bands and have a much better chance of meeting them. I don't think that I will be able to make it to North Carolina though. My dog is having surgery on Friday the 29th and I will have to stay at home to make sure that he is OK. If my daughter feels like she can take care of him I may try. It's only about 4 hours from where I live so we could come the day of the show.

Hey, Dixiana! Amy in SD, Kerrie (from Ga) and I were also planning to go to the Spartanburg show, and we were very bummed when it was canceled. But, then we found the Aug. 30 show at Cowboys Nitelife in Kernersville, NC. Its only an hour from me. And Its a nightclub show!! I think nightclub shows are much better than other venues... so much more relaxed! We are really looking forward to this show! Why don't you come join us? I think at least one other Ottomaniac is pondering coming to this show as well.
