Warner Bros. Records Debut Single, "Just Got Started Lovin' You"

Tops The R&R And Mediabase Charts

NASHVILLE – May 5, 2008 - Singer, songwriter James Otto has his first No. 1 with current single, "Just Got Started Lovin' You,” a single he co-wrote with Jim Femino and D. Vincent Williams. The single is currently No. 1 on both the R&R and Mediabase country music charts.

“I am still in shock,” said Otto. “As a songwriter this is something you dream about. I spent the last five years making this album and to see the fans requesting the single and radio programmers playing it, is the biggest reward of all. I am so thankful to the fans and country radio for their support because there is no way this single would be No. 1 without them.”

Otto continues, “I also want to thank Warner Bros. Records Radio Promotion Department for logging tons of miles in their cars driving to radio stations and spending endless hours on the phone promoting this single. You are the best! The entire staff of Warner Bros. Records should also be thanked, especially Bill Bennett as he has stood behind me and this album and given this single a l-otto love.” Otto goes on to say, “When I hit the top 20 with this single, I came into the Warner Bros. offices with a bottle of champagne. Now that I’ve hit No. 1 -- I’m going to have to think of something else to top the champagne,” he says with a smile.

In addition to scoring a No. 1 on the R&R and Mediabase charts, Otto also spent No. 1 for four weeks on the MusicRow chart, hit No. 1 on the R&R Indicator Chart and tackled No. 1 on the Country Aircheck Activator chart.

Otto’s debut album, Sunset Man, was released on April 8, 2008 and it’s been flying off the shelves ever since. Three weeks after the album was released, Otto’s sales continue to stay strong, logging him another week in the top five on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and dropping only five percent from the week prior. In addition, Otto has sold an impressive 107,975 copies in just three weeks.
