Because of James, I have made two of the best friends I have ever had! Amy (from SD) and Kerrie (from Ga.) We live far away from each other, so we've never met. Well, on August 23rd, Amy is flying in from SD, and Kerrie is driving almost 7 hours up from Ga. and we are all going to the Otto show together in SC!!! It will be a Muzik Mafia show, so its going to be very awesome!! I can't wait!
I get to meet my two best friends AND see James all in one day! This is so exciting!!!

Thanks for the info on the taping Ottonut! Glad to hear that it all went pretty well but sorry that the Ottomaniacs were seated so far back! I would've been bummed about that too! James wanted a redo? His voice is amazing, I can't imagine that but he must have wanted it perfect and that's great!!! :)

Well that was quick! Each only did 4 songs, but had do overs for the sake of tv. James ended up spending the least amount of time on stage partly because Chuck and Ashton both also redid their introduction, again for the sake of the telly. Guess everyone was more excited to see James!? He did Good Ol Days, Just Got Started, Drink n Dial, and LUCKY ME the song he redid was For You. It about knocked me otto my chair when James brought up a redo cause, I believe the words he used were, "vocal misses"! The tv people seemed happy with it and I sure as heck didnt hear anything off! They had Chuck redo his current song and Im pretty sure Ashton ended up doing 2 two times but James wasnt happy with HIS VOICE! Like I said me and the chair about parted ways. Anyway the non performance part of the show is gonna be him spending time with an Opry member. I didnt hear a mention of who James was paired with but for example Rodney Atkins is in the next one and hes gonna spend a day with Charlie Daniels for that show. That girl Julianne from Dancing With The Stars was there, guess she has good taste. There was a thing that wasnt fantabulous besides James being the one doing the least amount of stage time. Im still shaking my head in confusion on how they seated people.... it worked out that those of use who hit our feet when James was introduced and were the most receptive to him yep you guessed it the last 4 rows!

If she is not able to go with you to see James, should you be able to meet him, arrange to have James talk to her over the phone if that can be done. (smiles)

Just got to share with you all. Although I am beside myself with excitement about the show on Thurs. in Orange Beach, I am beginning to feel so guilty. My 10 yr old daughter, Hannah, is also a big James Otto fan. (Hannah just happens to have Down syndrome, so her speech is a just a little different from other "normal" 10 yr olds and it's so funny to hear her say "James Otto") Her favorite song is Ain't Gonna Stop. Anyway, I've had to keep it from her that her dad and I are going Thurs. to see Otto b/c I know she would be mad at me for not taking her. If you mom's were in my shoes, what would you do by way of making it up to her when she finally finds out where we've been. Hannah is very smart and pays attention to detail, so she will find out, it's just a matter of when. LOL!! Thanks for your input.

You sound like a girl after my own heart. I go to shows most of the time to see the openers, not the headliners. Now when James becomes the headliner, I'm sure that my tune will change!

Look for him possibly around the merchandise booth and get your Otto-graph and picture. I'm not sure that he'll be there, but that's where I'd lay my money, if I were a betting girl! ;o)
